There are dozens of new home communities in and around Austin. Most are in either Round Rock, Cedar Park or Leander, since much of the central Austin area has already been built out, though there are small infill communities popping up in select areas and architects and custom builders ready to help you design and build your dream home.

Investing 

Usually 20% to 30% down to break-even, Austin is a great town to own rental property.  Professional property management fees usually range between 8 and 10% of the monthly gross.  Duplexes and single-family homes are my specialty.
